The Chamber Opera of Washington is a Washington, DC area based producer with the goal of presenting operas to challenge audiences through an unconventional approach to the genre.

On October 31 of 2010 we will present a new production of Benjamin Britten's The Turn of the Screw, based on Henry James's novel. There will be only one performance, during the Halloween celebration. Due to the highly violent and sexual content of the presentation, it is suggested only for adults over 18 years of age. The venue has yet to be finalized and will be announced in the next few months. Tickets will go on sale on August 1st.
